The complimentary access to the gym was a welcome addition, although I regretfully didn't find the time to fully utilize it. Hotel Rio Claro is 200 metres from Rio de Janeiro’s Catete metro station and 600 metres from Praia do Flamengo Beach. Offering free Wi-Fi, it is 5 km from Santos Dumont Airport. Wifi was good enough to run a Zoom meeting. The staff was friendly and very helpful even though I didn't speak Portuguese. The room was small but comfortable. GREAT location! Really safe part of Rio, very close to the beach and metro. The breakfast was charming and it was so lovely to get to have that every morning.
