On arrival we were greeted with a very smile. We had an accessible room which was excellent. Food was also excellent and the service was definitely with a smile.

Stayed here before, it's a beautiful spot & really nice I chose it because I have a 6months old puppy & k ew dogs were accepted. It's a lovely place in beautiful setting & lovely rooms, the only issue is no bar ...no drink served no pint no glass of wine or anything its advertised yet when I asked I was told my wife may open the bar later .....This place is really missing out it so could be a goldmine it could have a well stocked bar it could have a pizza oven van or burgers outside & a little music say bikers welcome its on the tip of horseshoe pass ... it could host rallies have camping pods & really do so well ! I love it & I am not criticising however it could make tons if it targeted the right market, beautiful setting beautiful buildings great outdoors spaces .....it seriously needs someone with passion & drive to help it out if I won't the lottery I'd make them an offer 100% it could be so much more its quite sad as its in a prime location yet feels tired xxxx I love it & will definitely visit again , I just think it's missing tons of opportunities................

The road up to the accommodation is quite steep and with a few very sharp bends. This was already pointed out to us in the owners write up as a possible problem which a few people found difficulty with. We did not have any problems with this.

Lovely little town on the river in a beautiful area with great walks and outdoor activities.
We usually try to eat at Fouzis at least once when visiting. Great Italian restaurant.
Great walk to Trevor along the canal, then lunch at the old chapel across the road, when youve walked across the aquaduct. About 5 miles each way but on the flat. Also walk to Horseshoe Falls in the opposite direction, just a couple of miles each way.
We were lucky with the weather but sways best to take a raincoat!

There’s plenty to interest any traveler from vintage railway to canal boat rides or walking to the famous pontcysylite Aqueduct. There’s a castle ruins overlooking Llangollen with some amazing views of the surrounding area .
In the village there’s ample shops ,cafes and bars .

Charming little town on the River Dee with loads of attractions from the Llangollen canal to hill walking. Right in the heart of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage Site, so a very interesting and historical place. Not enough time to visit everything, so would like to return.

great holiday location, walking mountain biking or white water rafting and canoeing plus lots of bars / restaurants for after or instead of.
The horse shoe falls are entirely uninspiring. more of a small weir in a field.
the 20mph speed limits are ridiculous in places. steap hills and low speed mean low gears and high revs. Hardly improving the lives of those who live there.
Wales has so much to offer, nice people, beautiful hills and rivers and some of the best beaches Ive ever seen.
This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Llangollen and is ideal for seeing the sights. The staff were amazing giving us a beautiful breakfast and were polite, friendly servers joint in a laugh and joke with us. The host Cathy could not have been more helpful and friendly with us making us feel very welcome from the start making sure parking spaces were ready for us and checking us into our rooms, all with a massive smile. Highly recommend this establishment and look forward to returning. Thank you.
If you want to stay in a yurt (and I did), this really is a very good one to choose. I had thought that it might be a field of yurts, but on the contrary it was a single yurt in its own field north of Llangollen. You're not going to get hotel comforts (think of staying in a house with no central heating) but you'll get clean air, beautiful skies (in the right weather) and a romantic spot. I thought that the instructions for getting there and once you were in the yurt were very clear and helpful too.
Panorama cottages are outside of Llangollen via a narrow, one lane road. The views of the mountain and valley are beautiful. The kitchen and family room are good size. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary items; we cooked our own meals most nights. We enjoyed staying at home and eating with the entire family with these fantastic views. A hiking trail is just behind the cottages. The overall value for the cottage is great ! The host Richard is most helpful.
The House is a pretty modern update of a traditionally built cottage with everything we needed. parking for 2 cars and 10 mins from central Llangollen. Views from bedroom, kitchen and lounge windows all grand and zero road noise (some owls about tho) It was warm and tidy, Hosts are very helpful and fast to communicate, we weren't in a lot as attending a family wedding and related get togethers. Beds were good which is always a rental bonus
The location was excellent. Just a short walk to the centre of Llangollen. Lovely terrace overlooking the river and parkland. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and the service was good. A little disappointed with the evening meal not quite the standard I expected. There isn’t a lift would suggest you ask for a bedroom on the 1st floor if you have a mobility issue. I would recommend this hotel
Our beautifully furnished suite in Gamelin above the Llangollen marina just five minutes walk from the town centre had both front and back windows which revealed glorious views of scenic mountains. The quality of the accommodation was bettered only by the generous hospitality of Mayuri who unobtrusively provided advice and a sequence of unexpected tasty offerings
Hosts were very helpful with prompt responses to our queries before we arrived. The whole house was very clean and homely with lots of nice touches. The beds, linen and towels were all hotel quality. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. Location was perfect, 5 min stroll into the centre of Llangollen.
Location was amazing...much more than expected.
The hotel is the opposite to a travel lodge....an really quiet at night. Food an drink was a bit expensive for what it was but then I love weatherspoons!
Everything is forgiven because of the Location.
An a lovely canal side walk to llangollen..45 mins
Very pleasant surroundings close to horseshoe falls located between canal and river. About 20 minute walk into Llangollen along the canal path.
Friendly, helpful staff and a good breakfast. Nice little snug area to sit in the evening and balcony overlooking the river.
Beautiful location and lovely, comfortable, and warm cottage. Great communication from the owners as always. Secure garden for the dogs and space to sit and view the river and listen to the birds. Ideal base to experience a range of walks and easy access to Llangollen.
Such a fantastic hotel! The spa was great, the room was a good size and the bed very comfortable (even if a bit small). The shower and bathroom were great and so was the breakfast. Staff were really friendly and helpful, will definitely be back!
great for a couple for a short visit. Close to centre of Llangollen with shops, pubs and busses. Owner checked on us and thoughtfully left us bottled water, real milk for our tea/coffee in the small fridge, and two candy bars!
Stayed overnight for canal trip on Llangollen aqueduct. Location was great as only a few minutes walk away. Rooms were large and comfortable and the buffet breakfast was lovely.
