This was my best stay in an Ibis budget of the last 12 months. I arrived very late, after 2AM, after a long drive from Spain that started later than planned. However, the receptionist, while visibly tired was very helpful and welcoming. Before parking, the gate was also opening automatically without any procedures. Just perfect!
When I got to the room, there was a big surprise: the wifi just worked! Recent visits to Ibis Budget were accompanied by problematic experiences with the wifi, not so anymore. The simple wifi procedures at Ibis have always been my favorite, and now it is so again.
I could see my car from the room on the 2nd floor, always nice.
Facilities were all good: a clean and spacious bathroom with a shower, sufficient AC outlets for charging my gear.

Amazing experience.
The building, garden and pool are adorable. The hospitality is above and beyond but in a very easy going and friendly manner.
There is no restaurant but they serve dinner options in unique reserved jars from the local area. It was surprisingly tasty and high level. Probably what you get if you mix TV dinner with an elite French cuisine.
Do not miss it!
We came by bike on the La loire a velo and it was very convenient to store the bike.
Beautiful old building full of history and character.
Beautiful old building full of history and character.
Rooms are spacious and clean and the view ... beautiful!
It's a shame the restaurant is so expensive !It's not part of the hotel and operates independently.
Would be better if it was part of the hotel and a bit more reasonable!!

Meung sur Loire was a great surprise-- very beautiful little village, and within a 5 min walk from hotel we went through park, saw the chateau and the lovely town square, stopped at a bakery and cafe for a nice breakfast. Very picturesque

We didn't stay long enough really as we were travelling further south. We ate in the studio, so didn't explore. There was a market on the day we left which looked lovely but we didn't have time to go.

We didn’t have breakfast. It’s a shame the restaurant next door hasn’t been rebuilt yet - we like a restaurant within walking distance so will probably choose another hotel next year. Only other comment is that when a triple is booked the sheets should already be put on the bunk bed. This was the case at the ibis budget Limoges, but we had to put the sheets on ourselves at Meung sur Loire who can is very awkward and difficult. The bed has been booked and paid for so should have sheets already on it as far as I am concerned.
This is a fabulous ancient property with really large and comfortable rooms. It’s situation overlooking the Loire is magnificent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. I believe the restaurant in the same building is independent of the hotel, but was also truly excellent with very good food and wine and extremely efficiently organised.
We were very heartily welcomed to this property, which, despite its central location, is a very quiet place, surrounded by green patches and with plenty of parking space all around. We stayed in the aparthotel block, where rooms are more spacious and come with a small kitchenette. The centre of the pretty village of Meung-sur-Loire is only a few hundred yards away.
Lovely place and wonderfully helpful staff. I had made a mistake with my reservation, which the hotel could have easily exploited at my expense. I’ve had that happen before. But this hotel couldn’t have been more gracious about finding a solution. I’m so appreciative that their help allowed us to stay at this delightful property on the river
Amazing stay at Domaine Saint-Hilaire. Coralie and her family were such wonderful hosts! The property was peaceful and the decor inside was tasteful and charming. Meung-sur-Loire was a lovely and strategic spot to visit the Chateaux de la Loire. Would highly recommend!
The staff were very, very helpful and even organized extra things for us like a charcuterie plate. My teenagers loved the guitar and all the games. We appreciated the extra effort the receptionist made for us, the excellent restaurant and the cosy feel of the hotel
I was very pleased to get a room on ground floor with an extra- large, handicap- equipped bathroom.
booking ceremony and communication with the hotel were easy, check-in without problems, each member of the staff
extremely friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a beautiful location, with rooms looking out over the river. The hotel grounds were lovely, and having an evening drink on the terrace is a must. The restaurant had a limited menu but was good value and tasty.
