Amazing place to stay, peaceful and quiet and a great place to recharge your social battery. There's a pub down the street that is very friendly and a great place for a few pints of Guinness. Paul was an amazing host and when we told him we took a taxi to get there he offered to drive us to the nearest bus station after our visit. He is an extremely gracious host and we couldn't have asked for a better stay.

What a great location in the heart of Donegal! Really modern room above a very popular pub, but high enough above that we didn't hear a bit of pub noise. Lots of restaurants nearby, and Donegal Castle barely 5 minutes away. On-street parking is free from 6 pm on, and cheap at 0.50 euro/hour up to that time. Terrific base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. One small gripe: the little green lights recessed in the ceiling that are always on, which are apparently required for emergency lighting in case of fire.

Unfortunately being a guest house, people are arriving home at all hours, mostly following a few drinks. As we were on the lower floor near the main door we were kept awake by these peeps talking very loudly with no respect for others. The location is close to the village where you can frequent a range of drinking holes and have a nice meal.

It has a beach close by and a local spar shop. And is only a short drive from Donegal Town. The couple that run these holiday homes are very pleasant and available to help in any way possible. My stay was a pleasant one and I would recommend this accommodation to any one looking for a homely stay!
