Nice and cozy atmosphere with a Balinese touch, lots of privacy, I had no problems reaching it by bus, but there is enough space if you come by car. Very considerate and friendly host, attention to detail, just a nice place in lovely Ōtaki. Also not far from shops, restaurants and supermarket.

The owner, Sue, was lovely, kind, and so accommodating. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. The studio had everything we needed, including an exceedingly comfortable bed, freshly laundered towels and sheets, a charming kitchenette (complete with with coffee and tea, granola, butter, milk, a kettle, fridge, and a toaster), and a lovely bathroom with both a shower and a spacious bath. The views were absolutely incredible, as promised. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Hot tub is open until 10pm which is great for a quick relaxing dip before bed. I wish I could have stayed longer to read all of the books. Parking is good and it felt like a safe area. Stayed with my partner but would equally be happy to stay as a solo traveller as I felt very safe and secure.
