The room was very nice and clean. We stayed in a studio with a small kitchen, and it was well-equipped. However, if you want to cook on your own, you'll need to buy oil, salt, and other seasonings. Wonderful apartment in a stunning location - just over the backside of the hill from downtown Berchtesgaden. 10 minute walk with some steepness but not a problem. About 3 minute drive to Salt Mine and to downtown. Nice kitchen and bathroom, plenty of space and small balcony. Pool and spa as well! And parking! My 5th trip to Berchtesgaden but first time NOT in the youth hostel, and this changes the experience so wonderfully!
