I recommend staying for at least 2 nights. I stayed for only one night, and I think I could have enjoyed more (like the gardens and the free rental bike service) if I had more time. Having said that,I thoroughly enjoyed my bedroom, the lounge, restaurant, the baths. The free all you can eat ice cream in the lounge was also a positive surprise.

Located a 7-minute walk from Gosho Lake, Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen offers free WiFi and indoor/outdoor hot spring baths. JR Morioka Train Station is a 25-minute drive from the property. It is a very convenient that there’s indoor spring pool. The food was very good, we stayed 2 nights, and they changed the menu. I even think they upgraded. I love traditional spring hotel. The service is person to person feel very warm.

Located in Kitakami, 42 km from Chuson-ji Temple, Yasuragino Yado -Iyashino Yu- provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I didn't take the breakfast, so I can't comment on it. Location was good for me since I wanted to walk everyday.

This was the most elegant and restful stay of my life. Food is incredible - deserves a bib gourmand! Rooms are large and comfortable with a view. Onsen is lovely. The best is the free alcohol and hot drink service in the evenings around the fireplace. Definitely stay here if you can! It’s once in a lifetime type stuff
