Located 47 km from The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. It's a beautiful ryokan. We got a room facing the river. The view from the balcony was totally chill n relaxing! Love it. I would stay here again for the view.

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. One of Japan's most beautiful places to stay. Everything was perfect from the initial shuttle bus meeting us at the train station.. The staff were wonderfully helpful from the front desk to the restaurant. The kaiseki dinner and Japanese breakfast were excellent. The onsen were beautiful and we were fortunate to be able to sit in the outdoor baths while the snow fell. It's also literally, physically the closest accommodation to the Snow Monkey Park. There's nowhere closer than Senjukaku.

L'Hotel Fuki no Mori es troba envoltat de jardins i zones pintoresques, per on podreu passejar, i ofereix serveis de trasllat gratuïts a l'estació de tren JR de Nagiso, que és a 20 minuts. The staff were exceptional catering to our every need and the food was unusual and fantastic. It felt like a very authentic experience. The onsen was fabulous

A 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Yorozuya features hot spring baths, a hot tub and Japanese-style rooms with a private terrace and private bathroom. Without requesting, they sent a chauffeur to drive us from the station to the hotel on a rainy night. The food is great, the baths are large, and the rooms are cozy. Top class service.

Situated just a 5-minute walk from historic Togakushi Shrine, Oshi Ryokan is traditional lodging accommodation in the peaceful mountain area, which used to cater for pilgrims. Estada perfecta en un hotel tradicional envoltat de natura. El personal super amable i atent, els àpats abundants i super complets, es fan en una sala privada. Té un bany amb una banyera d'aigua calenta. Els llits incòmodes però és la gràcia d'aquest tipus de llocs!!

Only a 10-minute drive from Snow Monkey Park, Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya offers simple Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. Absolutely amazing. Love ryokan and onsen

A 3-minute walk from Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort, Kadowakikan features ski-to-door access, a hot spring bath and free WiFi. Mr. Kadowakikan was super friendly and helpful. He picked us up and dropped us off at the shuttle bus stop. He helped us order rental ski/snowboard equipment to the hotel. The hotel's own onsen was very clean and more comfortable than the town's free onsens.

A 5-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Tawaraya offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. One of my favorite ryokans, I stayed there for 2 nights, great facilities, great diner, great location for Snow monkey park as very near to Yudanaka station, and great staff. Especially the two ladies who manage the place are so kind and very hospitable. I have the outdoor onsen just for myself after long trek at Snow Monkey park, love it!

Ryokan perfecte per conèxier aquests tipus d'hotels tradicionals japonesis. L'esmorzar era boníssim i els banys termals molt tranquils. L'habitació també estava molt bé, els futons molt còmodes. Els propietaris no parlen anglès, però ho tenen tot escrit en notes perquè et puguis entendre amb ells perfectament.
