Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. The hosts and staffs are great! The private onsen is super enjoyable. It's a bit of a walk to the center but considering the price and the service, it is worth it.

Amazing ryokan with great view in serene area, you can really relax and just enjoy the scenery in outdoor hot spring. I might be a bit outdated and it is remote area so not all staff speak English but we didnt mind and they made extra effort to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay.

The rooms are very beautiful, clean and well prepared. One of best stay in Kusatsu. The breakfast is a homemade dish that is prepared carefully and beautifully. We are having a great time staying in Soumeian.

The room was cozy and comfortable! Loved the traditional rooms! The staff was very polite and friendly! Also helped us a lot when we had questions and showed us everything and what to wear etc. We just was unsure about the rules for tattoos bc we both had some (more anime/manga and animal tattoos) and we messaged the hotel before and they said to cover them or just use the private ones which we also reserved in advance (they was awesome!). But as we arrived there, the receptionist told us just some special Japanese tattoos are not allowed (forget the correct name for it but we guess the common yakuza ones). So we were able to use all public Onsens too what was really awesome! Bc we thought we just can use the private ones! It was also possible to order a veggie Menu!

Oyado Tamaki har varma källor både inomhus och utomhus samt en traditionell trädgård med bänkar där du kan sitta och koppla av. Nice location, gorgeous facilities. The ambiance is soothing and the meals are absolutely delicious. We experienced Japanese customer care like never before. The baths are amazing with an indoor and outdoor area, and the amenities are all you could ask for.

Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku är ett hotell i japansk stil. Här kan du bada i varma källor omgivna av vacker natur vid floden Takaragawa. Skidorten Hodaigi ligger 10 minuters bilresa bort. The breakfast and dinner was absolutely lovely to experience, with an amazing assortment of different dishes that seem small but are very filling. The rooms stay warm even though it is freezing outside, and the onsen is absolutely lovely in the weather. There are people who speak English that make you feel right at home, and give you very precise instructions on how to get to the onsen from your rooms. Staff are wonderful, please come here if you can make it!
