O Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in é um templo budista centenário com acomodações de estilo japonês, um belo jardim e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Tudo! Foi muito especial e inesquecível se hospedar no templo, as instalações eram lindas e as refeições foram incríveis, uma das melhores da viagem! As atividades também foram incríveis.

高野山 宿坊 大明王院 -Koyasan Shukubo Daimyououin- situa-se em Monte Koya, a 39 km de Tama Museum e a 39 km de Kishi Station. Staying here was one of my favorite experiences on the trip. I enjoyed the morning prayer and the cemetery near by. The food suprised and delighted.

Muito bem cuidado e limpo. Ambiente especial muito sossegado e relaxante. Quarto muito amplo, bem decorado. Comida maravilhosa numa sala particular em frente ao jardim. Cerimônia matinal dos monges inesquecível. Onsen novo e excelente.

宿坊 光明院 encontra-se em Monte Koya, a 39 km de Tama Museum e a 39 km de Kishi Station. Beautiful temple. The experience was amazing. The location is very good, close to the cemetery and not far from the other temples. The dinner and breakfast were very good. It was very nice to see the ceremonies in the morning. Nice onsen to relax.

清浄心院 situa-se em Monte Koya, a 39 km de Tama Museum, e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento privado gratuito. Absolutely incredible experience that I highly recommend. The monks were so accommodating despite this not being a hotel, but rather an active temple. They speak English very well. The rooms are so beautiful, as is the temple. the bathrooms are modern and the bathing area is lovely. Do keep in mind the baths are only open at night from 4-9pm! you cannot use them in the morning. I saw a review saying that the heating wasn't adequate but that was not the case when I went. they had normal room heaters that kept the room nice and warm despite the rest of the temple being cold (it's February) so bring warm clothing for sure! I unfortunately missed the fire festival because I didn't know about it before checkin (pm) and I left before the afternoon the next day. the ceremony is at 1pm daily. I'll be sure to go next time. They offer you dinner and breakfast in private rooms and it was so delicious and so filling. Especially because it's all vegetarian I was so happy.

The room si beautiful old Japanese style room, bed was very comfortable, amenities are generous and various. The location is perfect, near to accommodation in the center of the famous gion district. Hosts are very kind and fully available. We spent a wonderful stay.

This place has a 9.1 rating and most reviews seem too good to be true but trust me on this, this place is THAT good. And I would rate this hotel a 100 out of 10 if I can, the high rating is truly deserved. The staff is very kind and welcoming. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the futon is comfortable. The location is great, there are many food places nearby, the beach is just a few minutes walk away (you can even see it from your room depending on where you are placed), and the bus stop which will take you to the station or most places around Shirahama is very near.
