The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

Le Yurian est situé à Ibusuki, à 10 km de Ibusuki Onsen. Vous trouverez une piscine et un bain thermal sur place. La piscine et les sources chaudes sont changées 2 fois par jour. All their staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. Love the Spring onsen plus a separate spring swimming pool in the villa. Amazing views!!

Room was clean, comfortable and huge with sea view, kaiseki seafood dinner and breakfast was excellent, staffs are friendly and helpful.

It’s a family owned guest house with mother, father and two kids born 2020 and 2023. The father speaks English and that is friendly and eager to help. The common area is the same as the family’s private space. As a family you have access to a big bath tub big enough for four people. The house is made out of mainly wood, which is spacious and cozy. They created small areas for kids to play. Example a small ropeway. The father likes spear fishing. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful family made the trip to Amami really pleasant. Recommended.

The room is a basic tatami room with futon. What makes this place stand out to me are the numerous bath houses…there are 3 outdoor baths as well as an indoor bath. All can be accessed privately with a key system which makes it very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very kind and polite.

À 5 minutes à pied de la station de tramway Tenmonkandori, le Nakahara Bessou propose des hébergements de style japonais et occidental. Everything was just perfect. Fabulous location, staff and facilities. Loved the gentle renovation, it has kept its ryokan style. Loved the decor of our room, it gave it a really nice atmosphere.

Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. The whole experience was wonderful. Dinner was abundant, onsen facilities were great and the room was huge!

Le Ryokan Kawakyu propose des chambres de style japonais avec vue sur la rivière Nitanda, du thé vert et un futon traditionnel. Il est situé à 8 minutes de route de la gare JR Ibusuki. The Staff was very welcoming and helpful, starting with kindly greeting us at Ibusuki train station and generously providing a ride to the ryokan. Loved the traditional tatami room and wonderful hot springs (even with a private bath area). The owner was very responsive to communication via Booking message app and also has very strong English so all went smoothly. Breakfast on site was very good and convenient since restaurants are primarily near the station.
