Service 10/10 : As expected from the top level ryokan. You will be serves as king during your stay. Room 10/10 : Clean and comfort with stunning Lake or Fuji view. They even have puzzle game in your room for killing time. Food 11/10 : Both dinner and breakfast is superb. Facility 11/10 : The real onsen hotel. The highlight of the stay is in the hot spring bath. If you don't want to join the public bath, the private onsen can also be rent for a family or couple to have good time together. Hot spring footbath on the roof top is incredible. Lobby also got leisure area where you can enjoy complementary drink. Lobby got wine testing machine. (Buy prepaid card at the reception) Location 10/10 : The location is pretty comfortable with plenty of shop and convenient store in walking distance. Also near carpark.

Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. It's really hard to express how superb this stay was. And it was only 1 day. I imagine this is thanks to type of the place, not being typical hotel, but rather traditional ryokan with it's quality. From the beginning, the staff was excellent. Helpful, informative, easy to talk to. The room, comparing to our other hotels, was huge. Sleeping on futon was our best sleeping experience during whole stay in Japan. We have booked private bath, and again - everything well prepared, all important things available in the room. We were provided also with yukatas to be used in ryokan, but in addition we could also use more colorful that could be used outside. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from main station and on the way to old town of Takayama. The last but not least - breakfast was the best we had in Japan. We have chosen Japanese one and we could try many elements.

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. I love the ryokan onsen! The free use of the onsen without extra charge and tattoos are welcomed!

Ubytovanie Iroriyado Hidaya sa nachádza v destinácii Takayama 18 min. The staff of Iroriyado Hidaya was exceptionally friendly and helpful, also with regard to our kids; their genuine kindness and hospitality is a memory we will treasure. Using the traditional clothing and onsen was also a one of a kind experience. With our rental car the ryokan was a good exploration base for the surrounding area. And there is a really good authentic restaurant around the corner. If we got a chance in the future we would definitely come again!

Ubytovanie 八海 木花館 sa nachádza v destinácii Oshino 10 km od miesta Fuji-Q Highland a hostia tu majú k dispozícii bezplatné bicykle, bezplatné súkromné parkovisko a záhradu. Service was impeccable. The location was amazing - I had a view of Mt. Fuji from my room. It was the perfect relaxing retreat that I had in mind.
