Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaParking at check-in is somewhat of a hassle. Hard to find to a space out front at times.
Great location, very spacious room with full kitchen, dishwasher, etc and super friendly staff. Will stay here again for sure.

TurkeyBeautiful and clean room. The beds were very comfortable. Tv in both rooms. Fridge and stove. The staff were very helpful. Our pull out couch had an issue and they fixed it immediately. The location is very central and lively. The room we were staying in didn't receive any of the outside noises, it was very quiet.

IndiaThey do not offer cleaning services, so it's ok if you are there for a couple of days but any longer than 3 nights might become challenging.
The location is fantastic, right on the edge of French quarter and very close to Canal Street. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Beds are comfortable even though some of the furnishings are old.

United States of AmericaNothing really. Though the speaker at the entrance to the place telling you to “watch your step” was a bit annoying. I totally understand why it's there. When you opened the door to leave, you have to step down one step. If you're not paying attention it could surprise you.
Spacious with great sitting area and full kitchen. We were in New Orleans for 5 Full days. We got out a lot. When we needed a break we went back to the hotel and had spacious room to sit and get off our feet. Most hotels you only have a bed and one chair, that's ok for sleeping but not for taking a break during the day. Did hear some road noises in the living area but it wasn't excessive. Considering this is in the French Quarter it was very minor. We didn't hear anything while in the bedrooms. I don't know if all the rooms have this but 227 has a stereo with speakers and volume controls in every room. We enjoyed that a lot. On Tuesday they had a gathering in the courtyard. They had complimentary Wine and Hors d’oeuvres. That was fun. It rained a little during that time but it was a great way to meet some of the other guest. We met people from all over.

United States of AmericaThere was a luggage ramp / ADA ramp on a set of stairs pretty much the entire stay. Not a huge issue, but, seemed a bit dangerous to walk up.
Having an apartment to ourselves with a kitchenette and refrigerator was so nice! The AC was AMAZING. It was very humid during our stay.

FinlandThere was a severe thunderstorm when we stayed. Hotel could tell more about this kind of situations in advance (guide in the room etc.). Basic safety regulations were ok, but severe weather -events are uncommon to some of the guests.
Our air conditioning had problems in the middle of the night. Maintenance came soon, worked swiftly and politely. Wine at tuesday was a really nice gathering, staff (especially getlemen with a hat) made all feel welcomed. Bonuspoints for snack selection.

CanadaThe counter space in bathrooms is non-existent. There really isn't anywhere to unpack your toiletries or hang a robe or wet towel. The rooms are all internal, so there are no windows. It is a little dark in the suite. The bedrooms are set back away from the street so it's really quiet for sleeping, but the lack of natural light in them may feel claustrophobic for some. (Our suite overlooked Chartres so we did have windows in front living room. ) Our floor had a few stairs in the hallway to get to our room, so if you have large heavy luggage like us, you will have to lift them up the stairs unless you get hotel staff to bring your luggage to the room.
Great location. Walking distance to everything you would want to see in the French Quarter. Close to Bourbon Street but away from the noise. One of the few 2 bedroom, 2 bath hotels in that area that also had two king beds, and a pullout sofa. Our suite had 3 large flat screen tvs. There is a pretty courtyard with a small pool (4 t o 5 ft deep only) no lounge chairs, just some small wrought iron tables and chairs, but it is nice for a quick dip to cool off after walking around in the humidity and heat of the city.

United KingdomThe location doesn't get any better, everything is on your doorstep with great cafes, bars, restaurants only a few-minute walk. The room was really big and despite being in the French Quarter, a very lively neighbourhood it was quiet. I didn't even need my earplugs at night and we had great sleep. The kitchenette is a great plus in case you don't want to go out for breakfast or just want to store things in the fridge. It might not be the most luxurious place but it has a great sense of place and atmosphere. I loved the little extras in the hotel like the Sunday breakfast when everyone came together in the courtyard or the free walking tour which was probably the best walking tour we did during our stay. the guide was exceptional. The staff is super helpful and they can give information on excirsions, restuarants, etc. We loved our stay here and I would definitely come back again.

United States of AmericaThe very annoying voice recording that spoke every time the front door to the lobby was opened. Complimentary coffee in the lobby or courtyard would have been nice.
We couldn't believe the size of the rooms and that we had an entire, beautiful apartment to ourselves. I appreciated the red brick walls and tasteful touches. Having a kitchen was also great. The location was perfect right in the French Quarter but not loud or in middle of the party scene.

United States of AmericaNo view from my room but that didn't bother me. Had to change rooms initially because couldn't use the sofa bed in the initial room because of the table blocking and no where else to put the table really but they changed my room graciously. Thank you!
