Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaPool heater wasn’t working during our stay. I asked the host during check-in if the pool was heated and she said yes with no indication that there was a problem. Maybe she didn’t know about the heater, but it was pretty disappointing for my family. We were considering cancelling our reservation the week prior due to the weather but decided that it would be nice to spend time at the pool (assuming it was heated). There were two other families at the pool who were similarly disappointed. Thank goodness for the hotel bar. The room was pretty dated. I’ve stayed at Hyatts before and just expected the room to be recently updated based on prior experiences. Although the room was clean, it didn’t feel that clean because the finishes felt old. We stayed 2 nights and during both nights there were loud engine-like sounds off and on throughout the evening. I’m not sure if we were located above the laundry room, or maybe the sounds were coming from outside, but it caused me to wake up a few times during the night. On the first day, it was busy during dinnertime. My husband called the valet to request our car, but the valet apparently forgot about the request. We were waiting in the lobby area for about 20-25 minutes. It wasn’t until we realized that the attendants weren’t actively receiving or retrieving cars that we followed up on our request. We’re normally pretty flexible with these types of things, but it’s not easy to be accommodating with a young child in tow.
Location was good. Access to the beach was easy. The views in the morning and throughout the day were especially beautiful. Pool bar was nice.

United States of AmericaWe didn’t get to stay on the main property; our room was in a smaller building across the street, behind the main hotel buildings. I would still stay again, making sure to request the main property in advance.
The location was beautiful, right on the beach.

United States of AmericaThe room was sparsely furnished - rather bare. The hotel building is old. A bit too pricey.
Location. Across the main street from the beach. Nice views of the water from the restaurant. We sat on the restaurant patio for breakfast enjoying the weather and the views. Would go back for special occasions.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom was nice looking, but it didn't have a counter to place our toiletries The housekeeping service was very late in the afternoon. They didn't replenish the hand soap even when we asked for it. I miss the time when hotels had notepads and pens with their logo on them (They were excellent souvenirs) The smell of the room when we arrived was bad. We opened the window, so fresh air could enter the room. The smell got better as the days passed.
The location of the hotel was great. The facilities were very good and we enjoyed the excellent food at Costa and Lido. Alex at the lobby was very professional, knowledgeable, and polite. He always had a big smile to greet the guests. We appreciated the friendliness of Costa's waiters and especially Costa's funny host, The valet parking staff was also very efficient and pleasant

United KingdomThe room was a tad dark due to some trees blocking the light, but it's a minor point and nothing you can do about it. Don't cut the trees down please! On the day we arrived we went to the pool to have a dip and found it absolutely packed with no seating available and there was music blaring. It was about 4 in the afternoon so I'm not sure if this was standard for that time of day. We just avoided the pool at this time for the rest of our stay.
I paid for a mountain view room but I ended up with an ocean view room, which was a nice surprise. Room was spacious for a family of 4 and it had everything we needed. Our room was located in the furtherst building from the hotel's main building, but it was easy to reach, and not inconvienent at all. Pool was very nice and i liked that there was a cafe adjacent. We found the best time to go was late morning/mid day as it wasn't too crowded.

United States of AmericaThe pool was small and so crowded. The service at pool area was slow and not accurate. My kids ordered Dinner sandwiches and they had to wait a long time and one of them was served something different than what they ordered

United States of AmericaSome areas, like the pool and the restaurant next to it, require renovation. People brought dogs to the pool until the manager finally stepped in and made them leave. Our room was renovated, but not well. The bathroom countertop doesn’t go with the tile work. The tile at the blocked up fireplace looked DYI. Doors to the hallways were left unlocked and that didn’t feel safe.
The renovated parts of the public areas are lovely. The room was comfortable. The location is great.

FinlandCar parking is not complementary and it is expensive! The breakfast food was excellent. However it was not clear, at the booking, that the “included breakfast “ was “a la carte” and with a cap price per person, excluding tips. As said, the quality (and service) was good but this unclarity left us in the morning doing some math and taking time with kids that just wanted some cereals and follow to the pool!!!
The location is excellent and very practical to use the beach, pool, cafe and restaurant. The staff was nice and very helpful. Breakfast was very good quality. However one needs to count with some time in the morning to accommodate “a la carte “.

United States of AmericaElevator carpeting is in bad need of being replaced. The odor as well as the visual was unpleasant. The hallway carpeting made the hotel feel more like a 3 star hotel. Just maintaining it better (ie clean for fresher smell) would improve the experience. Pool area was great but could use more umbrellas. Didn’t think the rate was worth the stay.
The lobby area was nice and the location is great - appreciated that it was right across the street from the beach. There was free coffee and nice big communal tables where we got to enjoy our morning pastries. The pool area right next to a cafe for food and drinks was also nice. And a special shout-out to the Valet team for their prompt service and for being so nice, friendly, and helpful.

United States of AmericaThe restaurant being closed...?... for two days a week is not the best planning for guests staying either or both of those nights. The Lido pool Cafe had a very limited menu and was so busy we didn't bother ordering. We had only one night at the hotel and didnt want to spend it wandering around looking for a restaurant, although that's what we ended up doing.
