Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaThe kitchenette was purely decorative, not a single knife or bowl, little loan anything to cook with on the hot plate. The road noise was very loud throughout the day and woke me up multiple times at night. It was a poor choice to face the rooms onto a major raised road and not use soundproof glass. The location was very poor, nothing in walking distance and 20 plus minute trips to anything in the vicinity.
Nice new rooms, comfy linen and the like. Washing machine came in handy.

NetherlandsDefinitely not a "4 stars" hotel as rated. The rooms are all facing the expressway/highway so it is extremely noisy even late in the evening and early morning. The aircon was just as noisy even when on low settings so sleeping well is not possible. There are many better hotels with better locations, better services, and better rooms at this price or lower price. Do not recommend.

Ethiopia-The owner and the manager treated us so badly. They had zero respect for us as their guests. It was a horrible experience especially the last two days. They even blamed us for a cracked mirror and charged us 4000bath, which already existed when we checked in. In fact It was inappropriately installed. -They say full kitchen, but it didn't even have any appliances or utensils. We had to go shopping for pots, pans and knives after a 9hr flight. In addition -The room was very tiny and noisy. -The location was very difficult to get access to taxis and the staff were not cooperative.
I like it's cleanliness and proximity to Bangkok hospital(I traveled there for medical reason)

ThailandThe only thing to fault was the location. Quite a walk to the BTS or the canal. Taxis available outside.
This is a newly opened hotel so everything inside is quite new like unopened microwave tray etc. Super helpful receptionist by the name of Tommy. The bed is a little hard which I loved because of my back. I really liked this hotel.
