Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We enjoyed the size of the bed and the size of the room and the size of the tv and it was clean. The staff outstanding! It was close to the bus station which we needed to take so like in all cities around the bus station can feel sketchy but we felt safe.

MexicoThe zone at night is a bit complicated, that's because the public illumination is kinda poor, and there's nothing around, no restaurants and stuff like that.
The price is ad hoc and the facilities are ok, also the attention of the workers is very good. The hotel seems to be a bit old, but is very comfortable and the rooms were good, great size and huge bed.

United StatesThe bed was comfortable but there was no blanket, just sheets. There is no elevator. The hallways are dark. It is in a “heavy México” part of town with no restaurants, and hardly any street food vendors. Not the best location to base out of to explore Guadalajara, or for an efficient overnight stay if arriving late.
The staff lovely. The rooms are clean. It is a modern euro style. The parking area is protected. Getting a cab was easy.

RussiaDon't expect any usual hotel services: it's just a room with cleaning, nothing more. It was a bit weird to give the room key to janitors in the morning. You expect them to have their own keys. The hotel is located next to the Old Bus Station that is not a safe one after the sunset. It was also stated that there would be slippers, but the hotel doesn't provide them.
Clean and comfortable room. It's a good option for the price. The staff is supportive and welcoming. I had to extend my stand 2 times and managed to do it without any problems.
