How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lights too dim, shower curtain too dark, steps to room with no ramp for luggage.
Friendly and helpful staff, bed comfortable, location great with walking access to many restaurants and shops.

Such a nice hotel would benefit to have a gym.
Well located and comfortable. Loved the Ice Bar and restaurant. Enough place for big trucks in the garage. The reception staff was very courteous and helpful in finding restaurants and a gym nearby.

I can't think of anything to complain about. Next time I'd like to stay longer.
Our second stay in this hotel, and both times we found it just right for what we needed. Just a stopover on our way home from Northern BC. Comfortable, clean, convenient and reasonably priced.

The hotel room is a bit on the older side. The room was spacious though

Awesome hotel located right at the heart of the Whistler village! Staffs are very friendly and helpful. And we got it at a discounted rate so was totally worth it!

No breakfast was offered and parking was quite expensive.
For the night we stayed, this was a great value for money property. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and clean. We enjoyed using the sauna.

It’s dog friendly and they will provide bowls for food and water for the dogs if you need them. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable.

parking was about cad30 extra , crazy !we found a park on the road for free although about 10min walk . It was fine by us as we enjoyed walking through the beautiful village

When we arrived earlier, we were told that a room was available but it was down a corridor where guests and pets stay. We declined it and the gentleman said he'd give us a room on a higher floor when we check in after 4pm. Unfortunately, when we returned after 4pm, we were given the room on the main floor down the corridor where guests and pets stayed. I tried to explain what the previous gentleman told us, but the rep in front of us just dismissed us by saying that the previous rep was mistaken and told us to check to see if the room was okay. It wasn't okay as two out of three lights didn't seem to be working so I went back to the front desk and asked for a new room. The rep reluctantly gave us a room on the second floor where the lights worked, but the bathroom door was super sticky. At this point, we were too tired to move again so we just stayed in that room for the night.
Great location and some helpful staff because I had contacted the hotel ahead of time to see if we could possibly check in sooner because sometimes you can. Well, they explained that they were very busy, but could store our luggage if we arrived earlier. So, we arrived earlier to store our luggage.

Parking was crazily expensive. It was like $30 per night, and I don't think it was stated on the booking website. There are other parking near the hotel as well but it will be free until the next day 8am.
Overall the room was clean. It had a garden view to start off the day which is great. The lighting of the room was a bit too dim, we had one lamp that was broken. The hotel has hot tub that you can go :)

The hidden charges for the parking. They said as they have limited spaces they charge for parking. I must add the two days we were there the underground parking was barely full. Not impressed with this, needs to be more clear when booking.

The air conditioner fan wouldn’t turn off (even though it was set to ‘off’) and the curtains were just for show so they weren’t able to be moved to block the wind by the bed. There were no bathrobes available.
We weren’t here to ski; just to see the village while passing through. The beds were very comfortable, large bathroom, excellent bedding.
