In realistic terms relevant to the price per night… nothing much wrong with the place tbh. Somewhere to pass through and lay your head at night. Probably wouldn’t like the music venue downstairs, but I was staying when it was closed so no issue there. Maybe needs a little tlc, but again, $66 a night is good.

Easy to check in with a couple of door PIN codes. No fuss. Super cheap. Has a basic kitchen, a communal tv and fridge freezer to use so ticks every box I needed.

I didn't like that I stayed there on the night of a gig downstairs (was unaware of) , and instead of the no noise rule late at night upstairs drunken idiots came in and ruined that night. They were super loud, banging on everything at like 11:30pm-midnight until close to 1am.

Double bed, shared fridge, use of microwave, oven and kettle. Free tea and coffee.

The noise from late guests (3am), the live music and the nearby railway crossing. The mattress was well-used and too soft.

communication was poor. only generic response to email as if sent by a robot. was told off by email after my stay for being in the wrong room? did not receive proper crucial information and was not able to get a person on the phone. as a result had to rely on other guests to gain entry. useless code supplied and i was not informed of my room number. complex and frustration procedure.

Book this accomodation for our driver to be close to our air b&b, but was told it was very noisy, i know its a pub but was advertised that live music on the weekend, but it was live music when he stay there on thur and fri night. I don’t appreciate a text message in caps lock when I ask for info re check in as apparently i only got 1/2 of message at that time (might be due to some connection issue), and i did message politely asking for the pin and room no only.

I did not like the lack of employees. No one there, communication was via email and papers on the wall. There is no kitchen and the shower was not working well. But again, you get what you’ve paid for. I’ve paid only €40,-

Well, you get what you’re paying for… because it is very cheap. Good place for backpackers because of the location, close to trainstation, the city and it’s on the 1th floor of a pub with live gigs. I liked the hostel with its old and grungy style. On my day of arrival I smelled a lot of weed in one of the rooms and some signed posters of music bands. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was oke for this price.

The Van Gogh print on the wall. The music on Saturday night was a little crazy but Sunday's music was fine.

When I retired to my room it was pretty noisy down below, but it’s a pub and it’s what I expected, so no real complaints about it
