Located just on the edge of Hermanus right beside ficks pool, they had just opened the new section of the hotel and the new rooms are fabulous but what makes this hotel even better is the staff.

The Thatch House Hermanus is located on the banks of the Hermanus Lagoon. This boutique hotel boasts an outdoor swimming pool and a tennis court. The location on the water and under the mountains is exceptional. Great ingredients cooked superbly were just what we needed after several 'fine dining' experiences! Fantastic staff who could not do enough for us.

Located in Voelklip, a suburb of Hermanus, Mosselberg on Grotto Beach offers heated pool and courtyard. This elegant boutique hotel features free WiFi and is a 5-minute walk from the beach. I lived in many countries and am a seasoned traveler. This was probably the most spacious room I've ever stayed in. The room is large, has big glass doors opening onto the ocean with an open plan en suite bathroom. It is modern and well maintained. The way the facilities are laid out in the room shows somebody paid attention to detail. For example, the towels are right where you need them at the basin, not somewhere over there. 10/10 for this facility. I will stay there again in a heartbeat. We were held up by traffic and was running late for a wedding. The staff checked us in in two seconds and helped us with whatever we needed to get ready soon.

Perched on top of the cliffs overlooking Hermanus’s Walker Bay, The Marine offers first-class splendour and elegance and a spectacular seascape, with imposing views extending across Western Capes... We loved our stay at the Marine. The staff was terrific, the food was excellent, and it was a great way to relax after a 17 hour flight. Highly recommend.

Set between two of Hermanus's best swimming beaches, Birkenhead House offers luxury accommodation in individually decorated suites. What an incredible stay. The room was so comfortable with a spectacular view. The attention to detail is so impressive. We can’t wait to be back!

Grootbos Private Nature Reserve offers luxury accommodation featuring spectacular views of ancient forests and the whale watching haven of Walker Bay, just a 30-minute drive from Hermanus. The location is second to none, incredible ocean and mountain vistas almost wherever you look, but what really made this experience something special are the staff, they are attentive, engaging and friendly. What really struck me about the staff is how much they actually care about your experience, always asking “can I help you with x” or “we can do y if that’s better for you” etc without skipping a beat!

Located in Sandbaai, only 50 meters away from Schulphoek Bay, Schulphoek Seafront House features an outdoor pool and a garden. Perfect location, fantastic breakfast, and an amazing staff made my stay in Cape Town City unforgettable. Highly recommended!
