Check in in time to make sure you get maximum time to enjoy the room but also the grounds of the hotel with its beautiful chapel and aloe gardens. Thanks to the family for a great stay!

Our stay at Cliffhanger Cottages was incredible and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The attention to detail left us wanting for nothing and we were absolutely blown away by the views, visible from everywhere in the cottage, including the shower! The braii on the balcony & watching the sunset over the mountains are truly highlights of a wonderful trip on the garden route. Close enough to Knysna for shops etc. but distanced enough to fully immerse and hear nothing but nature. Some amazing hikes nearby with waterfalls and streams to bathe in during the summer months. We'll definitely be back next time! Thanks, Dean and Nikita!

In one word: unforgettable! Can’t say enough about the amazing staff, the great rooms, the views, the food and the massages. Our advice: do it all. Stay for the dinner, have the massage, have a drink at sunset - you’ll feel like you’re on your honeymoon!

Excellent location - seafront, near shops and restaurants. Bethwell at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. The room is perfect. Bed is very comfortable - we had very good sleep! Breakfast was delicious. Complimentary coffee and tea station at the lobby available 24/7. Fast wifi. Secured parking. Will always choose this place! Highly recommended!

The cottage was beautiful! Location great - not to far from Knysna and the host was really accommodating. Very private and the sounds of nature spectacular. Lovely spa bath and bbq facilities. We were there in winter and the inside fire place was warm and made one feel cosy. Cottages were cleaned every day by friendly staff.
