Set within 4.4 km of Umfolozi Country Club and 28 km of Kwambonambi Golf Club, GREEN TREE provides rooms in Mtubatuba. Breakfast I was not informed in advance that the breakfast is not included on my sleep. That I should order the previous day separate. A lady in the morning explained how it works. I was happy, at least I now for next time.

Great staff throughout. The game drive was special, too, and the Ranger was a nice guy, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We enjoyed our drive with him very much. Food was also really, really good. Even the breakfast packs (which are usually a bit of a let-down compared to the normal on-site breakfast) were way better than at other accommodations. Great place!

Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge is situated on the western boundary of the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park. The lodge boasts a spa, outdoor swimming pool and restaurant. Best place to start a safari in South Africa! We were super lucky and got to see all we wanted (elephants, giraffes, lion, etc.)! The hotel itsef is super! Wonderful food, friendly stuff and as mentioned: super safaris!

Not exaggerating: This truly was the best accommodation of our whole holiday, in every perspective. Nice and spacy rooms with comfy beds, beautiful garden with outside pool, great common areas like living room and bar to meet with other people and fantastic dinner. But most importantly the hospitality of the owners, Jenny and Gavin, was absolutely amazing. They took us in like we were part of their family. They are taking very good care of their guests, preparing the perfect meals even taking into account any complicated allergies, sharing their stories and we had a lot of fun together. I would recommend Wendy’s country lodge to everybody coming to South Africa and this will be the first place I book when I’m visiting South Africa again. Featuring garden views, Tchagra House provides accommodation with a terrace and a patio, around 18 km from Falaza Game Park and Spa. The location was superb, the house is located in a small game farm but very private. We didn't even get a glimpse of any of the other houses on the farm. The views over the KZN bushveld were fantastic and animals roam close to the verandah of the house.
