Wonderful hostess, place with an inspiring mission statement, historical rennovated buildings with a lot of character. There was a heater and the blankets were very warm. Great location with secure parking. Nice breakfast!

Swellendam is a very cute little town, the third oldest town in South Africa. It has a nice historic museum, good quality restaurants and an amazing nature reserve. We loved the very unique Marloth Nature Reserve (taken the route nr.2.)! Everything together will remain a very good memory for us.

Oh and did I mention the delicious breakfast? fresh picked mushrooms, homemade preserves,fresh squeezed juice. hosts had great suggestions and made reservations for us for dinner and golf. also wanted to mention the City of Swellendam has a very chill feeling. safe to walk even at night.
