Baan Georges Hotel ligger i Sukhothai, 13 km fra Sukhothai Historical Park, og tilbyder indkvartering med aircondition og terrasse. Der er udendørs pool, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Vi er en familie med to voksne og tre børn (10-15 år) og boede der fem nætter i første omgang og en enkelt overnatning en uge senere. Fantastisk sted. Vi var vilde med både nye og gamle sukhothai og især glade for at bo hos Luc og Poo. Det er sådan et flot hus, store dejlige værelser, egen balkon med morgensol, dejlig pool. Morgenmaden blev serveret på den åbne øverste etage med skøn udsigt over byens tage og rismarker længere væk. Virkelig dejligt hus. Og så søde værter, som vi hyggede os rigtig meget med. Luc var så hjælpsom og kørte os både til et super massagested, til old sukhothai og til phitsanulok. Han købte også en flybillet for os, da betaling drillede på vores egne telefoner. Vi ville helt sikkert komme her igen og også meget anbefale det til til andre.

Helt fantastisk og i 100% Thai stil. Rent, rolig atmosfære hvor alt gik op i en godt en god oplevelse, og en følelse af at være i det “autentiske og rigtige Thailand. Et sted vi helt sikkert kommer til at besøge igen.

It’s a small family run hotel that makes all the efforts to make its guests satisfied. The rooms are big, bed was comfy (not soft), very generous delicious breakfast; very helpful staff. Before that I stayed in more expensive resort in Sukhothai (in worse location, eggs & bread for breakfast and cold attitude from the staff). Then I moved to Sukhothai Garden and felt so lucky: it is just a minute walk from the main street and a few minutes walk from the Historical Park; the staff are very helpful and even gave information on what to see around (very rare in Thailand); the breakfast was great - they cook a lot of Thai dishes but also have western breakfast options. Most of the personnel don’t speak English but trying their best to help. The receptionist called me a TukTuk at 5:30 am and I went to see sunrise on a hill with beautiful huge standing Buddha statue outside the city - it was magical. The receptionist also told me where I can see the morning ritual of monks receiving food from people every morning at 6 a.m. From Sukhothai I took a bus to my next destination and the owner of the hotel brought me by car to the bus stop (which is very near on the main street). I had great time in Sukhothai thanks to people who run Sukhothai Garden and warmly recommend the place.

The swimming pool is surrounded by lush greenery and adorned with stylish decor, it was like a serene oasis in the middle of the city. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience. It's truly a gem with its stunning interior, fantastic amenities, and top-notch service.

Spa really good - had a nagging back problem since a long flight and the GM of the spa fixed it - like a miracle. The food was very tasty. Beer and wine prices reasonable.

The rice field scenery is calm.

Jitra Resort ligger i Sukhothai, 12 km fra Sukhothai Historical Park, og tilbyder indkvartering med have, gratis privat parkering, terrasse og bar. For the price, this is a good option. Its located near to the night street market, which we liked, but the town itself does not have a lot to offer in terms of eating and attractions. The historical area is 12km away, 20 mins in a tuktuk 150 baht..... so if you choose here, plan to spend most of your day in the historical part and eat around there too. We noted some of the rooms said cleanliness was not up to standard but our room was fine. There was discolouration on the tiles and wear and tear in the bathroom which may give the impression of looking unclean, but it was ok. The staff are pleasant and helpful, they found us a lovely tuktuk lady who we used to get us around. If you hire a bike, choose the bike hire on the corner before you enter the historical park, its 30baht. Inside the park they are 4 x the price
