Fabulous room, very kind receptionist and other staff. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing, so was the swimmig pool where we spent 2 hours. We would love to return.

Falcon Grand Hotel offers accommodation in Al Ḩadd near Al Hadd Turtle Beach and Al Hadd Fort. This 2-star hotel offers a concierge service. Hotel seems very new, the room was huge, with a nice design and clean. Bathroom was also nice. the access is very easy from the main road, at the begging of Ras Al Hadd village. The person at the reception also suggested us a very good restaurant, one of the best of our stay in Oman.

Situated in Sur, 44 km from Al Hadd Fort, Arkan Al Barzah Hotel Apartment features views of the city. Friendly staff, clean room, quiet location, everything was great. Good Syrian restaurant nearby (500 m to the north) with best juices in Oman.

Located in Al Ruwis, 36 km from Al Hadd Fort, Al Asala Resort provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. It is 25min away from turtle tour. Everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Super OYO 110 Ras Al Hadd Guest House is located in Al Ḩadd, 27 km from Sur. Each room at this guest house is air conditioned and has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Great value for money. Amazing staff, very kind and always eager to assist.

Bidiyah Domes is located in Bidiyah. The hotel provides city views and a terrace. Atmosphere is great. and the staff is excellent. Activities with locals are bonus

Almorouj Farm inn - Bidiya features accommodation in Bidiyah. The property offers car hire and features a garden and terrace. The property was very clean and the caretaker (Mr. Sajjad) was very helpful. The property is about 200 meters away from the sand dunes. The views from the property during the morning and night are equally spectacular. There is a road for cars that are NOT 4x4 to reach the property as well. However, it’s best to contact the owner for guidance. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The surroundings are clean. The owner was very friendly and polite. We loved our stay!

Ras Al jinz Turtle Reserve ligger i Ras Al Jinz, en hekkeplass for grønne skilpadder. Her tilbys du rom og hytter med klimaanlegg og flatskjerm-TV med satellittkanaler. This was a good but unexceptional hotel, but the location and the experience were marvellous. The hotel protects access to the beaches of the turtle reserve and keeps them as a pristine natural environment. There’s a fair walk down to the closest beach (maybe 500 metres?) or you can drive there and park in a small parking area. The beach closes to unaccompanied visitors at 4:00 p.m. to allow the turtles to come ashore undisturbed. We visited just before 4:00 and were excited to find nests and turtle tracks in the sand. During the evening and early morning tours, we were thrilled to see two turtles laying eggs, and another two crawling back to the sea. We visited during the off-season but it seems most days they are lucky.

The Sur Plaza Hotel is located in the picturesque city of Sur, famous as an old fishing village and traditional manufacturer of dhows. I stayed here April 5. Check in was easy and the staff helpful and friendly. They did my laundry very quickly and well.
