The staff were extremely friendly, helpful & professional.

The skylight is fancy, too bad it was cloudy day and we couldnt see any stars.

This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

Two Thumbs Unit 1 ligger i Lake Tekapo i Canterbury och har en uteplats och utsikt över bergen. Boendet ligger 46 km från Mt. Dobson och erbjuder en trädgård och gratis privat parkering. Bathroom was spotless and much larger than I expected. Good water pressure, too. Kitchen was decently equipped. Hosts were responsive when we had questions about how to use certain appliances.

Set in Geraldine in the South Canterbury region The Fishers@33 features a garden This bed and breakfast features a terrace. The bed and breakfast consists of 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom. The grounds were beautiful with vegetable and flower gardens, a walk through the woods, magnificent trees. The hosts went out of their way to welcome us, even showing us their personal museum and giving us interesting books to peruse. Geraldine was a cute town with great Indian food.
