Situated in Takaka in the Tasman region, Labyrinth Gardens Guest House offers accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. This accommodation was one of the most beautiful I have ever been to. The fact that the bathroom is shared does not affect it at all, because it is shared with only three rooms and the bathroom was cleaner than in a 4-star hotel. The house and the surroundings of the house were a little piece of paradise. The owners are great and very nice. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

Chalet Karaka was absolutely delightful - a hidden gem, tucked away in a beautiful, tranquil bushy setting with a small picturesque stream running at the bottom of the garden. The shower was fantastic - excellent pressure with a lovely glass side looking out onto the private garden and stream. The room was spacious and well appointed and the icing on the cake was the generous outdoor undercover living area/deck complete with a Weber for all your barbecue requirements. Ngairie, our host, was friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

Located in Takaka, 10 minutes' drive from the beach, The Rocks Chalets features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. The best one we've ever been to. Spacious, excellent garden and facilities, excellently maintained, lots of privacy. Every small detail was thought of. Extra friendly owners, smiling and willing to help. Suggested to hold our luggage for the coming 3 days (we went hiking). Wish I vould give them more than 10....

Woodland eco retreat is set in Parapara. The property has garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. This is a beautiful spot, super quiet, lovely friendly owners that even brought us some freshly baked muffins. Loved everything about this place and will definitely be back.
