I absolutely loved the warm welcome and how accommodating the venue is. The rooms are spacious. The location is walking distance from everything. The breakfast is phenomenal and the special touch of dog treats on a plate made our day. We felt welcome and special. We also loved the little bakery and the freshly baked bread.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Prost Hotel Swakopmund Namibia offers accommodation in the heart of Swakopmund. Stayed in one of the air conditioned rooms in July, and it was absolutely fantastic for the price. Very spacious and modern room with a satellite tv with a large number of channels, small refrigerator, sizeable bathroom and shower, coffee and tea. A very good buffet breakfast (with made-to-order eggs) is offered between 7am-10am. However, what stood out most about the very centrally located Prost Hotel was its friendly and welcoming staff. Well before checking in, I had a number of random questions given that it was my first time to Namibia, and Debbie responded both very quickly and very warmly. It’s really hard to convey warmth through an email, but it certainly came through. I had asked similar questions to another, unnamed, local, historic hotel when debating where to stay, and their responses were very cool and perfunctory — couldn’t have been more opposite than Debbie’s. In any case, each and every one of the staff above and beyond to make our stay superb. Needed a very early ride to a tour pick up spot about a mile away after checkout - no problem, Debbie organized a staff person to take us. Although we had 10 (!) foriegn country electric adapter plugs, none worked for Namibia - no problem, the front desk let us borrow two for our stay and let us know where to buy one for the rest of our trip. Couldn’t figure out how to work the tv remote (extremely embarrassed about this as a man!) - no problem, front desk staff immediately came up and sorted us out. Checked out before breakfast, but plans slightly changed afterwards - no problem, came back and had our final breakfast at the hotel. So huge shout out to debbie and all of the wonderful staff at prost hotel!! If we ever come back to Swakopmund, this will be the one and only hotel we stay at.

It is what it says -- a great little hotel RIGHT ON THE BEACH. The pictures are true... our patio door walked right out onto that lovely green lawn and then to the beach. It was great that they offered a family room, it had a nice patio and small fridge and coffee/tea station. It wasn't the most elegant decor, but it was clean and completely met our needs for a beach get away. Free parking -- it was tight to get to our assigned spot, but the car gaurd was always on duty to help ease one into the space.

Located at the promenade with views of the ocean, Strand Hotel Swakopmund features a spa, 3 restaurants and bars. It offers a 24-hour front desk and conference facilities. The room and the view are nice. The big size of the bathroom with the closet is very good. The staff was super kind and made is feel like home.

The room was very spacious, clean,bed was comfy, the bathroom was also really well layed out but was stood out the most was the friendlyness of the staff. Really helpful, always smiling. Can only recommend

Beach Hotel Swakopmund er staðsett 50 metra frá ströndinni og býður upp á þakverönd með sundlaug og björt og rúmgóð gistirými með svölum og nútímalegum innréttingum. The room was exceptional, large with a very comfortable bed and nice shower/bathroom. Location fantastic, close to the beach that you can hear the waves at night.
