We stayed for a week in Mauritius, and chose Flic en Flac as our accommodation location. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly - thank you for welcoming us, and making our stay so enjoyable. The bar and restaurant were also great! We were able to do a lot of the activities on the West Coast from Seastar (7 Coloured Sands, Chamarel Rum Distillery, Le Morne hike, Tamarind Falls hike, snorkeling in Grand Baie).

The kitchen specifically was fully equipt, from bottle opener to the stove and coffee machine. The whole experience in Mountain View was great, I really recommend! We also had a great big terrace, to drink our coffee in the morning and to eat dinner in the evenings. The host is as well really helpful and friendly.

Located in Rivière Noire, 30 km from Les Chute's de Riviere Noire, La Mariposa Mauritius boasts a private beach area and outdoor swimming pool. The property also has a garden and a terrace. Amazing location right in front of the beautiful sea. Seemless transition from hotel to beach. Only hotel we stayed with heated pool, which is a plus during winter season. You gotta love the puffs and other options to lie down on the beach. Great sunsets and views of Le Morne mountain. Just enough rooms to not feel overwhelmed by other guests. Complete breakfast and delicious food altogether with decent pricing. Friendly and welcoming staff.

An adult-only hotel (as from 15 years), Hotel Chalet Chamarel is perched on the ridges of Chamarel mountain with exceptional panoramic views of the west coast on one side and breathtaking views of the... Fantastic location, peaceful, beautiful. We will definitely come back.

Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa is located on Mauritius' le Morne Peninsula. It was a great honeymoon experience for us. Amazing hotel! Great facility

Located along the beach in the West Coast, this 3-star hotel in Flic en Flac offers bright, well-appointed rooms with free Wi-Fi. It features an on-site restaurant, billiards table and guest lounge. It is charmingly old fashioned with a beautiful garden and centre piece swimming pool. Everything in the room worked, and the staff couldn't have been more efficient nor helpful.

Tamarina Golf and Spa Boutique Hotel is the gateway to a thousand other destinations, to discovering Mauritius’ culture and landscapes in all of their beauty and majesty... All the meals were healthy with lots of choice and well cooked and presented. The staff were amazing, welcoming, charming and with lots of smiles and attention. We were thoroughly spoilt. It was just what we needed, peaceful and very well run. The beach is amazing, a well kept secret, a curved bay with shallow clean sand, none of the dreaded prickly anemones and with breakers gently rolling in and providing safe swimming for everyone. The spa was good. The shuttle service to the golf course worked well and we played golf 4 times on the long and interesting course. We will return as soon as we can. We enjoyed the various entertainments during dinner, especially the 3 piece band with sax, guitar and string bass.
