The luxurious 5-star hotel Splendid Conference & Spa Resort is set directly on a long sandy beach in the heart of Bečići, just 2 km from Budva’s Old Town. We came mid September and our experience went above our expectations, everyone was friendly. There was nothing we disliked, yes, the food prices are above the average in Budva but everything we had was quality, also is something you expect in a 5 star hotel. Perfect place to relax and unwind (in September) I bet August is a bit chaotic.

Everything was amazing, the staff are really friendly and make you feel like you are in your home, professional, smiling, and cooperative. The location is perfect though to every place in the town and reachable, being between local houses makes me feel that I am going to my home at night every day and gave us a lovely experience. The cleanliness was amazing and also the breakfast was delicious and varied a lot. I will definitely come back with my family in the summer and I will recommend Hotel Idila to my friends. It was worth every penny that I paid.

The most helpful host family, our view / balcony, the pool, laundry facility, spacious room, adequate shelving and hooks in the bathroom (very rare in Europe!) and a kitchen. Hosts were extremely responsive with any issues and very informative on what to do and where to eat. Excellent experience! This is my 8th country in 2 months of traveling so have stayed in everything from hostels to nice hotels.

Lovely resort with great bars and restaurants along the sea front, as well as others in the town. A good relaxing location where you can sit and chill, or go for a walk to other beaches in the area. It’s a good location to access other areas along the Budva Riviera and coach trips available for sights further afield. All in all Montenegro is a lovely country to visit.

In comparison with Boka-Jotor bay and Herceg-Novi, the beaches on Budva Riviera are the best. But at the same time, Budva is pricey.

From £172 per nightThe location was lovely, it looks out on the Budva riviera and it away from noisy Budva but close to other towns like Sveti Stefan and Becici. We stayed in apartment 22 which had a balcony that was amazing. It was too cold to use the pool upstairs but we went up and sat there. The breakfast was great, it was in the restaurant downstairs and the their staff was ever helpful and lovely.

We loved the staff, they were too friendly and helpfull. We got too many recommendation for Budva. Matija at the reception was great and helped with any little details. We are planning to visist that hotel again. Pool was great, private beach was awesome(3mins by waşking and no need to pay for sunbeds) It was HB and breakfast+dinner were amazing. Good location close to Old Town. Sea is close, too, but still need to walk (there is only 1 hotel in Budva which is located right at the beach, and it's much more expensive). They have animation during summer months; breakfast is OK 7AM-10AM.
