The breakfast was according to our wish srilankan or western. Lunch/dinner is ordered from out and very tasty. They have reliable TukTuk drivers and tipps for Jaffna eateries on hand. We want. to come back!!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with welcome drinks and a friendly staff team. Gopinath, the front office manager, made sure our experience was comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel excelled in every aspect, from food and entertainment to accommodations. The restaurant offered a diverse menu, ensuring we always had new dishes to try. Room service was both quick and exceptionally friendly, much to my children’s delight. Kajintharan, who deserves a special mention, kept our room spotless daily and amused the kids with multiple towel animals. Having visited several other hotels and restaurants in Jaffna, I can confidently say none compare to North Gate Jaffna. It's the ideal choice for anyone seeking comfort, great food, and entertainment, complete with a well-maintained, sizable swimming pool.

First of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and was homely. Secondly, the food was excellent and our family enjoyed all the dishes, specially the crab curry. Alcohol was not that great. My wife ordered a drink with Arack ( green in color). It was overly sweet and pretty much had no alcohol in the drink. Draft beer was great. Thirdly, the room design was excellent and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The hotel provided accommodation for my driver, for which I am thankful. I will definitely visit again.

It is a nice and quiet modern hotel with good facilities. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and pillows. There is a fridge in the room and and tea making facilities in the lounge area outside the room. We were given two small bottles of water on arrival. The shower works well with good hot water, once you get it adjusted properly. There is a shower screen too, but like all bathrooms in Sri Lanka the bathroom floor still gets wet. The air conditioner works well and the room also has a large ceiling fan. The hotel is well located just 1.6 kilometers from Jaffna Fort and about a kilometre from the rooftop bar at the Jaffna Jetwing Hotel. Breakfast was not included but is available, we did not have breakfast at the hotel. All in all a good place to stay.

The staff went above and beyond to assist us, making our stay incredibly pleasant. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax in. While we didn't get a chance to try the hotel's food, as Jaffna has some fantastic restaurants that we chose to explore, we are definitely looking forward to trying the hotel’s cuisine next time. Overall, a great place to stay with exceptional service.
