Situated on a pristine beach, the slow rolling break is great for body surfing or playing in the waves. We enjoyed the beach, snorkeling, exploring a few nearby attractions, and lounging by the pool. Every meal was excellent and the staff are on top of everything. It was a perfect retreat for us (a couple) looking to unwind. Highly recommend!

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional level of service they provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at fairy tail. It was simply fabulous! The place and people were top-notch, and I savored every single minut. We appreciated the attention to detail. Separately, I want to say about food! it's the best thing I've tried on the island! Chefs culinary skills far exceed your expectations. All in all, a great experience. The combination of delightful dishes, calming ambiance, and friendly staff makes it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to unwind and indulge in a true culinary delight. Set in Tangalle, a few steps from Tangalle Beach, Serenity Beach Cabanas offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a restaurant. I liked everything about my stay. I actually spent 3 nights here and would gladly have spent more. The resort is located right on a lovely spot on the beach. It's a short walk to the town and you can venture further along the beach too. I loved my cabana which was really clean, it had a lovely clean and comfortable bed with a mosquito net in good condition. My towels were white and almost new! The bathroom was small and clean with a warm shower. It was great to have a kettle with teabags and cups as well as a small fridge. Breakfasts were prepared to order and were very nice. I also ate at the restaurant on two evenings and my food was prepared fresh and was tasty. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and courteous. I started receiving fresh flowers on my patio table from day 2 - a lovely touch! I would definitely recommend to those who appreciate a bit of beach serenity and peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff couldn’t do enough to help us… helped us out when we were short for cash for our safari (!), let us check out late, extremely friendly and turns out the owner does a lot for animal protection and conservation of the park! Not to mention the amazing setting and pool area!

The owner Randy is amazingly friendly and willing to do his very best to serve his guests. The room is great - spacious, clean and comfortable. The food is fabulous - the best Sri Lankan breakfast we got during our entire journey in Sri Lanka! If you have time Randy will show you around - something you should consider doing. You will enjoy the nice surroundings and learn about Randy's village. This is absolutely great value for money.
