Situated in Ishigaki Island, 400 metres from Fusaki Beach, Little Mermaid Hotel Ishigakijima features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. It is the cutest hotel. They have sweet little animals to welcome guests inside. The staff is amazing, especially Reika. She went out of her way to make us feel very welcome. The rooms are very much beach style with Japanese amenities including a heated bathroom floor and full size fridge. The beach is a beautiful 5 minute walk away. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower had amazing hot water with great pressure.

We got watermelon, the special cakes, and the grandma’s extremely delicious homemade somenchanpuru(the Okinawa’s typical food). All the equipments in the house are clean and good. The people there are so nice, I had best sleep there and a lot of good memories which makes me wanna come back next time. Thanks so much!

Loved the "happy hour" every afternoon. They had options of juice for non-drinkers which was appreciated, on top of the regular coffee machines. Hotel was very conveniently located and we chose it on recommendation from our dive shop, Prime Scuba. Room was spacious and I was very grateful for the washing machine and drying rack. We did not require the daily room cleaning as we only stayed 2 nights, but we did see the cleaning staff everyday diligently working on other rooms. If you use the bus it's only a few minutes walk around the corner from the hotel, otherwise the hotel has parking available for your car. I do not know if there's an additional fee as my husband and I mainly took taxis. The front reception was always very helpful in helping us call for a taxi. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel molto carino nei pressi del porto di Ishigaki, posizione centralissima e vicina a ristoranti e negozi. Camera molto grande, letto comodo, colazione buona e variegata. In albergo si trovano informazioni di ogni tipo per visitare l'isola, prodotti per la toilette nel caso si siano dimenticati a casa, acqua che si può prelevare quando si vuole tramite una borraccia. Lo staff è super super gentile e sempre a disposizione. Mi sono trovata benissimo.

La posizione è comodissima, a 10 min a piedi dalla zona principale di Ishigaki e soprattutto dai terminal dei traghetti e degli autobus. L'hotel mette a disposizione gratuitamente lavatrice e detersivo (si paga invece l'asciugatrice), biciclette per 5 ore, e drink nell'area comune. La colazione è buona. L'attenzione ai dettagli è massima

Stanza bellissima con grande vetrata con vista oceano (prenotata nell'ala nuova dell'hotel). Molto spaziosa e curata. Colazione soddisfacente, con opzione Giapponese o Occidentale, varia scelta con anche delle varianti tra un giorno e l'altro. Posizione buona, ha una fermata del bus proprio di fronte (noi abbiamo comunque preferito noleggiare una macchina per essere indipendenti, hanno parcheggio disponibile in loco). Possibilità di noleggio bici. Assolutamente consigliato.

Friendly staff and great facilities, especially for families with kids. There is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and back. They also have a lovely bath house. Eco cleaning is offered and the selection in the breakfast buffet was very good and diverse. Indoor pool was temporarily closed.
