Fosshótel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. Our room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and large. The crib was very good. The view from the room was perfect because it had been snowing for two days before It even had a small balcony trype thing. The restaurant was expensive but worth every penny. Staff was helpful and fun.

Situated by Lake Myvatn, this hotel offers WiFi . All rooms feature a TV and private bathroom. Skútustaðagígar natural site is 2 minutes’ walk away. This was the best hotel we stayed in Iceland. The free amenities (Sauna, Hot tub, pool billiard, bathrobe, flip flops, etc.) and the free breakfast were just great. The room was modern and spacious. The northern lights wake up call is a wonderful free service (we didn't have any luck though). The location is incredible across from a volcano walking trail. Seriously, we were so excited when we saw what the hotel offers for such little money (in March). Will definitely stay here again when I return. Thank you!

The family-run Vogafjos Guesthouse is set in a unique natural environment on the eastern shore of Lake Myvatn. It offers rooms with a patio and free Wi-Fi. Second time here and everything was as perfect as I remembered. Great local food and breakfast.

Lovely location with a view across to a volcano. Very comfortable apartment that was perfect for us travelling with adult children. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Very nice place in an amazing part of Iceland. The host was very friendly and came to see if everything is OK. The place is magnificent and the house is fully equipped (fridge, oven, washing machine... exactly what we needed at half of our journey). You can prepare your own supper / breakfast and eat on the patio or inside with a view on the lake. We did the Diamond Circle from here and the ash volcano across the road 😉 Don't worry about the small flies... they are harmless and all over the Myvatn region... nothing to do with this very place .
