Featuring a bar and shared lounge, Hótel Laugarvatn is 15 minutes’ drive from Thingvellir National Park. WiFi and parking are free. Really nice and kind owner. Room clean and we got a room with renovated bathroom, lovely. Parking in front of the building. Right next to the lake and spa.

The place is stunning with views to a farm of horses and a perfect spot to see the Northern lights that we could see a couple of nights. The staff, the breakfast was great with loads of food.

Do need to drive down F road to get to property but worth it. Host was great, very willing to share information about the area. A short 10 min hike from the cabin was an amazing waterfall.
