The location and room were amazing. It had such a cozy feel, with the amenities of a luxury hotel, but still felt like a home. The manager and staff were very friendly. The breakfast was great, the location amazing. Highly recommend booking a room if you can get one

My husband was congratulated on his birthday with both song and cake, and when he ended up in hospital at the end of our stay, they visited us and found solutions in terms of new accommodation. A quaint townhouse .. the staff were just out of this world . Considerate and anticipating every detail. Service at this level - and I travel every second month in India - is hard to find and at the cost , amazing value . The dinner / bfast option is highly recommended as the food was amazing also .

Visalam is a century-old lovingly-restored palatial home in Kanadukathan village of the Chettinad region in Tamil Nadu. Everything! The building is fabulously beautiful and serene. The staff was perfectly gracious and helpful. The trip with Shiva into neighboring villages , tile maker, market, and great houses was delightful, enlightening and fun! He gave us a very warm welcome to his village! Dining was a lovely experience and food was varied and delish. Altogether a wonderful several days in a fascinating part of Tamil Nadu.
