Amid the hills and lakes of Monaghan, this modern 4-star hotel has plenty of leisure facilities, a relaxing spa and the opportunity for outdoor activities. Lovely place. The lady working the desk at the spa (Tara?) was fantastic! We didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t report on that.

Just 1km from the centre of Monaghan Town, this elegant hotel has award-winning leisure facilities, free Wi-Fi and a friendly welcome. We had the best time - We were given a free room upgrade, the staff were so helpful. I brought my sister with special needs and they allowed an extra hour late free checkout for me to be able to help her get organised in the mornings. The staff went over and above. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Huge breakfast.

This was perfect for our group of friends. Everything was clean and tidy and lots of space. Beds were extremely comfy. Will hopefully be back.

Lynster House provides rooms in Milltown, a 3-minute drive from Monaghan. The property is situated 10 km from Castle Leslie. Both private parking and free WiFi are accessible at this property. Warm and inviting. We felt more like family than tourists. The meals were a foodie delight, locally sourced and delicious. Our host was warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The house was beautifully decorated and full of light and laughter.
