We stayed in seven hotels during a weeks touring the WAW, the Mariner was not the most expensive but it was definitely the best hotel that we stayed in. There was nothing to fault.

Surprising good room for a 2 stars. King bed by the way, not Queen, nice surprise (should be corrected on Booking…). Simple room, but big enough, good quality mattress, good quality bathroom, and very quiet, with the sound of the river if you open the window. Restaurant very good, excellent slowly cook lamb shank. Nice staff. Location in the hearth of Cong, which is absolutely adorable place, great little village, great walking areas around, etc.

Ballina Manor Hotel er staðsett á bökkum árinnar Moy og er með útsýni yfir dómkirkju St Muredach. Manor Hotel býður upp á fínan veitingastað og herbergi með ókeypis WiFi. The staff were friendly. Car parking was made available. The breakfast was extensive and there was lots of it. The hotel is centrally located. The room was a good size. Overall the whole experience was an enjoyable one.

With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. Fab hotel lovely and clean nicely decorated rooms bathrooms and views. Staff all amazing especially restaurants staff and wee macs bar staff. The head barman very kind and accommodating for customers looking for tables to eat. !! Great food in all areas. Beautiful grounds and walks . Enjoyed the planned walks and our visit to cemetery to look up deceased members of our family a great stay all round.. next visit to mayo will definitely book again. We all agreed we didn't want to leave.
