The Village Bunaken er með útisundlaug, garð, sameiginlega setustofu og verönd í Bunaken. Gistirýmið er með einkastrandsvæði, veitingastað og bar. Dvalarstaðurinn er með fjölskylduherbergi. The atmosphere was really relaxed. From travel mode,we could really switch towards relaxing. The staff (Fi, the singing lady's and helpers on the boat) are really nice and helpful with a lot of humor. Just for Fi we would come back😉 The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everyone worked hard to keep the hole area clean. The food was really good, and they tried to make every mail different 👏 Then the diving, one of our reasons to be there. The owners Fu and David run the dive school with great passion. David was also our dive instructor. He is super relaxed,but doesn't miss anything what we did wrong 🫣or good😅 We couldn't wish for a better instructor ( Thanks). Bunaken is a wonderful place for snorkling or diving

This homestay is unique in many forms: the owner Steven contacted me a few days before my arrival to answer all my questions, which was a solo female traveller very helpful. He organised me a taxi and boat from Manado to come to Bunaken and back. Through this i could catch directly my flight. Steven and Misi were always helping me with any situation coming up and I had the feeling I could always ask them anything (i had a difficult situation in the middle). The prices were always transparent and fair. They also helped me to find a very good diving school and helped me planning my snorkeling trips (they have a lot of contacts). Both are very kind, warm and open. They even invited me to celebrate New Years Eve with them and their friends. On my last night we had a small farewell party to which Steven invited some friends over to play music! The room is very clean and comfortable. In the whole house I always had perfect and fast Wifi (didn't expect it on an Island:)). The room had a fan and as an add-on AC. The food is cooked fresh, delicious and a lot. Dietary requests are taken serious (as for me i dont like fish and love Tempeh :)). I also rented a Scooter from them which had a very high quality! I am super happy and grateful I stayed at El Homestay and I am already planning to come back:). I honestly fell in love with this family. If you want to have homestay which feels like home and get to know the village of Bunaken and the culture you should definetely stay at El Homestay!

Such a great experience. The lodge is located very close to the beach where the boat drops you off. The rooms are very comfy and have AC. Be prepared for a bucket shower! Dion is very friendly and helpful, the diving is very good value and the crew are kind and very good at their jobs. The best part for us was the food!! All three meals are included and the home cooking is really incredible and delicious, they should.open a restaurant! We miss it already Overall we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again

Sunset Guest House & Bar snýr að sjávarbakkanum í Bunaken og býður upp á einkastrandsvæði og bar. Það er sérinngangur á gistihúsinu til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja á staðnum. Awesome stay! The family who runs the guesthouse were so warm hearting. Every meal was fresh and delicious. You can feel that they run the guesthouse with passion. Highly recommended.

Very nice resort, very warm staff, thanks Ana, Frenkie, Lya, and others staffs’ warm hospitality !exquisite food, well maintained facilities, very clean, clean the room twice a day, has mineral water , we bought an extra one from mainland but no need, stunning view. hope can come back again in the dry season

Happy Gecko Dive Resort er staðsett á Bunaken-eyju í Norður-Sulawesi, aðeins nokkrum skrefum frá heimsfrægum ströndum eyjunnar og köfunarstöðum. Boðið er upp á gistirými með köfunarmiðstöð. Snorkeling on the dive boat was excellent. Felt I was being looked out for. Two different locations each morning. Great dive crew. Bed in the cabin was comfortable.

Raja Laut Dive Resort blandar vel saman við sveitina og býður upp á bústaði úr viði úr kókospálma. Stop reading the reviews and book this now. NOW! It so amazing. We stayed 8 nights. Right on the ocean, with a little beach, no mangrove trees to obstruct view or access to beautiful coral reef, great for snorkeling. Other places in the island don’t have this. I spotted snowflake eels, 8 types of clownfish, 3 types of anemones, coral colonies the size of cars, and so many pyramid butterflyfish and niger triggerfish just in the first thirty minutes. It’s amazing. All of the rooms have wonderful views. It was so so so relaxing to be there. I have never had such a good experience. The food was amazing and local. We did vegetarian and it was so tasty. They also had fresh fruit around at all times. We went with the divers on their charted boat and snorkeled for around 12$ a person for two separate spots a day. Super affordable. The boat team of three men were so professional, knowledgeable, and yet super funny and kind. I felt like we’re all friends by the end. There is a public boat from manado, which we took on our way out, and we booked a private boat on our way in through Raja Laut. Both were great. Brahm the manager was so kind and attentive. We did laundry there and it was done well. Jessie and her staff in the kitchen were so kind. Always enough food, served family style so we could get to know the other guests. It was so nice, but also acceptable to talk to your own party if you wanted to.
