The elegant Erzsébet Hotel is housed in a classical manor estate dating from 1739, set along the banks of the Danube at St. Stephen Square. Lovely spacious room with large comfortable bed with beautifully monogrammed towels and pillowcases. Extra towels and dressing gowns provided for wellness rooms. Bathroom has lots of extra toiletries . Our room had trees shielding the window giving dappled shade. The hotel is set on the edge of the Danube so our room had a river view. The hotel has half board included in the price which included a three course meal(you pay for any drinks) .If more than 15 guests are booked in for the night there is a buffet. Breakfast was again a chance to order from a hot menu when less guests with plenty of things to choose from the cold buffet. The swimming pool is lovely.Parking in courtyard. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Lajvér Borbirtok in Szálka provides adults-only accommodation with a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. Beautiful view from the room. Very friendly staff. Nice red wine. :-)

Featuring a private beach area, Donautica Hotel & Restaurant is located in Fadd-Dombori. A hot tub is available for guests. The in-house restaurant serves European cuisine. The room was clean and comfortable, and there were only a few of us, so the sauna was like a private place 🤗 the staff was very kind, helpful, and professional. We would like to be back!

Noresa Dekor és Panzió is situated in Szálka, the very heart of the Szekszard Wine Area. Lake Szálka and a beach are set next to the village. Wonderful house in a wonderful village, walking distance to the restaurants and to a convenient place for swimming in the lake. The breakfast was extraordinary, and it was the perfect afternoon and overnight stop on our way further south. A great playground for small kids, too.

Set in Szekszárd, 48 km from Pécs, Hotel Merops Mészáros features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. We liked the convenient location, the food at the restaurant as well as the breakfast buffet, and one night there was even a free folk dance presentation with music.

Duna Hotel is located in the centre of Paks and 700 metres away from the Danube River, offering a Finnish sauna, which can be used free of charge, and a 24-hour reception. Breakfast was fine. Location, less than 10 minutes walk from the bus station, and under a half hour walk to the football stadium, Paksi FC, the reason for my visit. Chap at reception wa very helpful with info on how to get to the stadium, and info about the 'village', as he called it.

Hotel Zodiaco is located in the Szekszárd Wine Region, featuring en-suite rooms with free WiFi, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a refrigerator, and a minibar. The staff was great and very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Also, the location was fantastic with parking right out front. While it's a little older, everything has been kept up and it's very comfortable. The building is great and unique in style and we all appreciated it.

The hotel was great. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious. Our dogs were very welcome, and they loved running in the beautiful park.
