The elegant Erzsébet Hotel is housed in a classical manor estate dating from 1739, set along the banks of the Danube at St. Stephen Square. Lovely spacious room with large comfortable bed with beautifully monogrammed towels and pillowcases. Extra towels and dressing gowns provided for wellness rooms. Bathroom has lots of extra toiletries . Our room had trees shielding the window giving dappled shade. The hotel is set on the edge of the Danube so our room had a river view. The hotel has half board included in the price which included a three course meal(you pay for any drinks) .If more than 15 guests are booked in for the night there is a buffet. Breakfast was again a chance to order from a hot menu when less guests with plenty of things to choose from the cold buffet. The swimming pool is lovely.Parking in courtyard. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Noresa Dekor és Panzió is situated in Szálka, the very heart of the Szekszard Wine Area. Lake Szálka and a beach are set next to the village. Really beautiful place. Countryside style which I love. The owner was really nice and she served us a tasty breakfast. Totally recommend the place

Set in Szekszárd, 48 km from Pécs, Hotel Merops Mészáros features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. We liked the convenient location, the food at the restaurant as well as the breakfast buffet, and one night there was even a free folk dance presentation with music.

Duna Hotel is located in the centre of Paks and 700 metres away from the Danube River, offering a Finnish sauna, which can be used free of charge, and a 24-hour reception. Breakfast was fine. Location, less than 10 minutes walk from the bus station, and under a half hour walk to the football stadium, Paksi FC, the reason for my visit. Chap at reception wa very helpful with info on how to get to the stadium, and info about the 'village', as he called it.

The staff was great and very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Also, the location was fantastic with parking right out front. While it's a little older, everything has been kept up and it's very comfortable. The building is great and unique in style and we all appreciated it.

Fried Castle Hotel and Restaurant in Simontornya, 40 km east of the famous Balaton Lake, is set amid vineyards and features an own winery, a French park, and outdoor pool, a children's playground and... The location was wonderful, the park of the hotel was stunning, our suite was very large, with a huge balcony. Our dog was happy to run in the beautiful park 😊 The breakfast and dinner buffet was good, and the hungarian beer very good 😊 We had a relaxing time.
