Located in the green belt area of Szentgotthard, Hotel Zsida offers rooms with free WiFi and cycling tours in the Őrség natural park. The hotel is nice, surrounded by nature, which means cooler temperatures and quiet. The lady at the reception is very helpful. Breakfast is really good. My room was very big.

The Gotthard Therme Hotel & Conference in Szentgotthárd is situated next to the Szentgotthárd Spa&Wellness and 1.5 km from the Austrian border. I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Very good food much better than I expected. Well done. This hotel has a good chef.

Very close to Szentgotthárd’s train station, Lipa Hotel és Étterem offers Hungarian and Slovenian cuisine, free WiFi and rooms with cable TV. Great breakfast, great staff, located next to train station, but very quiet, and clean. Great value for money.

Set in the westernmost part of Hungary, close to the Slovenian and Austrian borders, Andante Pension & Restaurant offers modern-style accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The location of the hotel is good, rooms are clean and big. The restaurant is very good and looks very nice. There is private parking and good wi-fi.

The Abbazia Country Club is located in Nemesnep, close to the Slovenian border. It offers apartments with kitchenettes and a large spa area. We had a big two floor apartment. Pool was nice and warm. Breakfast was delicious - eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, pate, cereals, Jura coffee, juices. as a bonus - you can sit on a saddle at the bar :)

It’s a separate house in a quite neighbourhood, including 3 apartments with their own separate entries. it has the small garden with the table and the parking space. 5 mins drive from the Austrian border. The apartment was sunny, with big windows and the possibility to close them from outside with from the sun light and as a safety measure at night.It was clean, spacious, kitchen had all necessary utensils for cooking/dining etc. The bath towels are provided ( no toiletries). Monika met as late in the evening to let us in :)

Featuring free WiFi, a barbecue and a terrace, Naturpark Vendégház offers accommodation in Alsószölnök, in the Őrség National Park. Free private parking is available on site. The location of the guesthouse as well as the friendliness of our host was exceptional! We loved to be close to nature and being cared for. Our room was spacious, bright and nicely furnished, and with breakfast we really did not have to care about anything during our stay.
