This hotel was the best I've experienced in 20 years of vacationing in Greece. The hotel owners, their daughter and Katharina are the nicest and friendliest people I have ever met in hotels. I even got dinner from the house because the tavern was overcrowded and they invited me for a grilled fish too. I have never experienced greater hospitality in greece. Breakfast is very good, there is something for every taste and with homemade sweets from the lady (Athanasia) of the hotel. I can recommend this hotel best.

Very close to the port of Kythera, very spacey, very clean, located exactly on the beach front. At this part of the beach it’s not easy to swim but a little further, at a walking distance, you can enjoy the best, in my opinion, beach of Kythera. The room is brand new (just renovated) with excellent interior decoration and equipment. The staff is very polite, always available to support. Highly recommend!

Next to one of the best beaches of the island. Even when north/east Winds hammer the island the beach there is relatively calm. Very near the harbour, couldn't be closer!

Eleni is a wonderful host with local knowledge and answer any questions. Our apartment exceeded our expectations. Spacious living with a well equipped kitchen and terrace with table and chairs as well as tables and chairs under the olive trees overlooking the bay to catch the breeze - sensational. It’s very clean with a wardrobe, drawers to unpack and even space for the yoga mat. We would love to stay here again and recommend it.

A romantic place with a windmill and a pool, with excellent breakfast at the heart of the island. All beaches are equally accessible while the port and the key villages are also at an equal distance. We loved the welcoming attitude of the staff and owners while the whole experience exceeded our expectations. A place above the average on an island that we love and visit annually. Will stay there for sure again in the future.

Set amidst a well-tended garden, Hotel Porto Diakofti is situated in Diakofti Village of Kythira, just 80 metres from the sandy beach and within 1 km from the port. The room so spacious and spotlessly clean! Extremely comfortable and highly recommended. Breakfast was great, good quality, fresh and homemade. Thank you Molly for being a great host!
