Set on the foothills of Belles Mountain, Villa Belles offers traditional-style accommodation with modern amenities, overlooking the magnificent Kerkini Lake and surrounded by the countryside landscape... The owner and staff were so caring! Knowing of our plans to climb up mount Radomir the next day, they prepared the breakfast in takeaway bags. They also made sure to give us all the contact details and precautions for the hike up, knowing that some hunters were active in the area. In the end, our hike went very well and we could happily report back that we were safely back down the mountain by late afternoon ;-) The rooms have outstanding views on Lake Kerkini. Beautiful sunrise and sunset light. The nearby village of Akritochori has 3 good dining options.

Situated in Kerkíni in the Macedonia region, Kerkini Houses has a patio. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a balcony. The house was absolutely cozy and comfortable and didn‘t leave anything to desire - it felt like home. Everything was thought out well and the owner seems to spend a lot of effort on his property. The quality standard was quite high especially regarding the reasonable room rates. Everything was spotlessly clean inside and outside. The house has a quite large living room with a seating area with two couches, a fully featured kitchenette and a dining table for 4 people. The seperared bedroom is fitted with a comfortable bed and a large wardrobe. And the bathroom has a comfortably dimensioned shower. The tap water is drinking water and it didn‘t taste of chlorine, so it was actually drinkable. The owner let me use the washing machine, so I could wash all my clothes, which comes in very handy when travelling by bicyle. There’s a clothes line right behind the houses, so with the heat and the wind my stuff was dry in no time. The bike can be parked right in front of the house, which was very convenient. The value for the money was really excellent there. It would have been great to stay a few more days, but unfortunately the property was already sold out for the following days.

Cozy 3 Bedroom Apartment is set in Kerkíni. Among the facilities at this property are private check-in and check-out and a minimarket, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The apartment was quite large for the purpose of our booking. It was also nicely decorated and equipped. We liked the espresso machine (Nespresso) and the roomy kitchen. The check in procedure was very straightforward, as the keys were located in a lock box outside the apartment that could be unlocked with a 4-digit combination the host provided us with, prior to our visit. If one is visiting Lake Kerkini or Ano Porroia and a car is used as a means of transportation, the apartment is situated at an ideal location with plenty parking space on the public streets.

Ihnilatis is located amidst a well-tended garden in Korifoudi village. It offers traditionally decorated, air conditioned studios opening out to a terrace. Lake Kerkini is 400 metres away. Exceptional experience in every way. Our host, Christos, did everything to make us feel completely at home. The property is beautiful, surrounded by mountains, and very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely come back!

Guesthouse Alkioni offers air-conditioned rooms opening out to a balcony with Kerkini Lake and mountain views. The place was tidy, cozy, clean and as a whole very very nice! I loved all the photos of kingfisher birds on the walls. Brilliant view of the lake. Very polite staff.

Great hotel to explore this exciting region! Hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable about all activities and attractions in the area. Delicious breakfast with local products and gluten-free options. This is THE place to go for birdwatchers. The boat tours offered by Nikos are simply amazing, totally recommended for everyone!
