We had a one night lay over prior to flying out to our next island. Facility was walking distance from the port (about 1/2 mile) little bit of a pain dragging luggage thru the streets, but that's traveling. Clean, comfortable beds, with wifi, AC worked great, has a nice pool. Small store nearby to grab drinks or snacks. Staff was very friendly and helpful in trying to print out our boarding passes the next morning and helping to schedule a taxi to the airport. Nice breakfast buffet.

Great for beaches scenery and nice places to eat. The short ferry to Telendos is a must. We ate at the Archipelagos, part of the Aegean hotel. First ate there over 20 years ago and in my view has consistently been the best restaurant in the Dodecanese. A small village but the bus service enables easy access to other parts of the Island. Kalymnos is a very scenic laid back Greek Island. Very popular with climbers given the magnificent mountains. The main town of Pothia is well worth a visit

I stopped in Kos town to commute from the airport to a boat to another island. There are probably better places to stay on the islands, and the beaches are very narrow in the town. However, it is a good place to start an archeological tour, or to start any trip in Kos or in the Dodecanese. Nice little hotels for very reasonable price.

Pothia is a working active port - there's lots to do and see. We recommend the bus tour of the island, or taking a hire car to see the further parts of the island. Certainly visit Telendos and the west coast resorts. Eat in tavernas away from the busy centre if you don't like a wait or crowds. The tavernas close to the Demarcheion or and the road going north from it, are the best, in our view. Taxis are plentiful and cheap, but don't get stranded on the west coast without booking a return, as the taxis centre on Pothia. Kalymnos is well connected to the other islands in the Dodecanese chain, and Nissos Kalymnos serves Patmos, Lipsi and Agathonisi more or less daily, but leaves harbour early in the morning. The Dodecanese Express and Pride also work out of Pothia.

A much quieter island than its neighbor Kos. Great for diving, climbing and sea kayaking it is very much the activity island of the Dodecanese. Some superb restaurants especially the Aegean Tavern in Masouri. The small island of Telendos is also a great place for small secluded beaches.

Chora's setting is one of the most beautiful of Greece, with its small cosy harbour, the white houses (very much Kiklades style, despite it is formally Dodecanese) climbing the hilll and the Querini (Venetian) castle on the top as a cherry on the cake. Enchanting!

Symi is the most beautiful of the Dodecanese Greek Islands that I have visited. I highly recommend. It has incredible beaches accessible via taxi boat and beautiful views from the town.

Very nice place.
Very nice place. There is everything in this island: ancient history, knights, beaches, a lot of sun. People are very sympatic and helpful. Good cruises to other Dodecanese could be organized. Transport is well organised. Strongly recomend as a tourist destination - especially the old town of Rhodes.

This was my second stay at Villa Zacharo, my first time was 5 years ago. The property, as always, is super clean with the best wi-fi connection in the Dodecanese group of islands in Greece. Add to that the fact that it is next to the biggest supermarket in Patmos and only 3 minutes away from the port and now you know why I came back. Do not let me forget the superb breakfast with great coffee and delicious black olives, plus, the great hosts, Jacob and his wife and now you can guess why I will be back next year, to stay longer!!

It was a short stay at Meliton, on our way to another island of Dodecanese. Stayed only 1 day and took the boat the next morning, so we booked bed&breakfast, but must admit that the Hotel is very well reserved and clean. Our room had a lovely view to the smaller pool, good mattress, very relaxing, the breakfast just what we expected. Great base, away from noisy main road. Used their transfer service as well. Would definitely visit again for longer on our next visit to Rhodes.

The place was amazing! The apartment is just perfect. The view from the terrasse is also beautiful, we enjoyed spending the evening there… The beds were so comfortable also! We slept well, we had a great time. The village of Nikia is also soooooo beautiful and it is so nice to have dinner on the central square at the restaurant La Porta, take time to rest, drink and eat, and then go back “home” just next door… One of our favorite place in Dodecanese.

My wife and I stayed at this accommodation for 3 nights during our month long trip amongst the Dodecanese island s, in Greece.Being in Symi there was a climb of several steps to contend with, to reach the room but overall not too bad.The apartment was of a decent size , and well equipped.The sea view was quite limited as was any outdoor furniture, but the owner was kind and gave us some Greek donuts, on one occasion.
