The attention we received was first class as was the home cooked breakfasts. The location over the river was beautiful and made for an exceptionally relaxing stay.

Smeaton Farm Luxury B&B is situated in St Mellion, 11 km from Cotehele House, 13 km from Port Eliot Gardens, and 17 km from Cathedral Church of St Mary and St Boniface. We absolutely loved our stay. Highlight for me (aside from the beautiful room and farm) was the eggs Benedict. Best I’ve ever had.

Featuring mountain views, The Cabin in the Tamar Valley. Offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 4.3 km from Cotehele House. The location, which is very difficult to find at night (use this in Google maps 50.518228,-4.225086), is spectacular, well situated with easy access to the main roads to go further into Cornwall or Devon. Great views from the windows. Cabin is located in the grounds of a private house, which, when you get there at night, makes you wonder if you're in the right location, as there is no real signage making you think you are. However, quick call and the owner comes out swiftly. Owner, Johnathan, is very pleasant and will show you all of the benefits of the cabin, as well as controls etc. Place looks exactly like the pictures. Very comfortable, great little log burner, nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, great shower with good water pressure and good internet/TV streaming. For a business traveller looking to cook for themselves, or a couple, this is a great place.

I Really enjoyed my stay at the cottage, the owners were really lovely and really kind. I bought my dog to property and she really enjoyed the local walks and I was pleased the cottage was so close to where I was working for the two days. I highly recommend this accommodation. They Couldn't have been better hosts.
