Where modern heritage meets a warm Derbyshire welcome. Oakhill is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed (Georgian style) house built by the Arkwright family in the mid 19th century, as a private family dwelling.... It was perfect - location, the gardens, the food and the staff. Really lovely hotel.

(although I don't have one) I did like that pets well behaved ones at least! Are allowed all over the property! Which is nice. The whole place was just amazing! I would definitely look to be staying here again ☺️
