We drove a good distance out of our road to stay at the castle and it was more than worth it. Our only regret was that we didn't spend more time there.

Debbie was very friendly even made me a cup of tea whilst I waited for a taxi. Fantastic themed idea for the rooms. Loads of space. Big Spa bath. Very nice place to stay whilst doing the Cleveland Walk.

The Inn on the Moor Hotel has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Goathland. We loved everything. Our room, super king bed, was akin to a five star hotel suite which was spacious with every amenity anyone could wish for. But it was the service with genuine smiles that made our stay even more special. The food was also excellent and the location perfect for exploring the area.

Location was amazing ..... not surprising the mobile and internet coverage was poor .... no bad thing at all as offered the opportunity to totally leave tech behind and tune into the beauty of nature all around us. Great location. Whitby was a joy, made more enjoyable by the stay at Bagdale Hall. Worth every penny to upgrade to the room with the four poster bed.
