Situated 400 metres from Highland Folk Museum and 1.7 km from Ruthven Barracks, The Osprey Hotel offers accommodation in Kingussie. The bed and breakfast offers a terrace. Hiking can be enjoyed... We were met by Des who helped us store our cycles and both Des and Sinaid could not have been more helpful and made our stay a wonderful experience.

On the banks of the River Dee, The Boat Inn in Aboyne offers accommodation, a cosy bar and restaurant. The Boat Inn is somewhere in the middle of everything, if you follow the Deeside. We loved our room, big enough for two beds, which were bigger than singles. So rare anywhere in Scotland! Breakfast in the morning was ordered á la carte and fantastic, same goes for the evening meal. We stayed for dinner both nights at the restaurant of the Boat Inn. Personally I thought The Boat Inn was the best accommodation on our one week tour. Can't recommend it enough!

Used to be an old hunting lodge, and Steve and Tracy have transformed it into a fabulous Inn. Beautiful rooms, very clean, super comfortable-best “sleep” of our entire trip, great breakfast! They were professional, but also treated us like old friends while we hung out with them in their very own bar that one evening. Reminded us of what B and B’s USED to be like back in the day.
