We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and caring to this beautiful country inn right on the Dordogne River. Sitting on the patio looking out over the valley was a bit of heaven! The dining room was lovely. It was a fine base to visit nearby Sarlat La Canadia and to see other ancient buildings in the Dordogne area.

It was beautifully situated in the middle of nature, fully equipped with all possible facilities and with an excellent restaurant. The staff were discreet and efficient but very friendly. There was a restrained yet intimate atmosphere.

We had the room opening onto the courtyard, and it was perfect for relaxing away from the world. Secure parking, even payable, is always a plus. The staff were always available and helpful. Better than it’s 3 stars would suggest.
