Housed in an former water mill set by a river, Le Clos de la Vouge is located in the heart of a Burgundy vineyard, between Dijon and Beaune. Excellent overnight. Amazingly comfortable beds. Spotless. All newly done. It’s really a beautiful place to stay and a very welcome overnight stop. Lots of beautiful flowers, good breakfast, restaurant next door that was ok for a meal. Nicest dog friendly hotel we have stayed in.

Clean, tidy, charming. In a lovely quiet traditional small village. Host was excellent. Food (menu de jour) was great. And wine recommendations (local champagne and a red) were perfect. Sadly we had to leave early so didn’t get to sample breakfast.

Room was great, with cozy bed and all the antique furniture and the view from the room over the wine yards is amazing. Hotel is managed by a Dutch couple which is very friendly and supporting.
